RENEE HANSEN: Keyboard & Piano teacher - Renee has been a student of TMA for 10 years and has been teaching for 2 1/2 of those years. She has won numerous awards in local and regional TMA festivals as well as a scholaship in the 2009 TMA District Festival. Renee has successfully completed 3 TMA music exams. She has had training with Deanna Tice (Deanna is owner of Take Note Music Studio in Edmonton and a TMA clinician & educational specialist who has trained music teachers across North America, Australia and the UK). Along with piano & keyboard, Renee is proficient in saxaphone and clarinet and won an Overall Musician award at WJ Mouat in the spring of 2010. Renee played bass in the former rock band Room 10 (once known as Miraj), and is also learning violin/fiddle & guitar. |
