TEACHER BIO'S

DANA WRIGHT: Vocal teacher & Junior Piano – Dana has been living in Abbotsford since 1985, and graduated from Abbotsford Sr. Secondary in 1990. Dana loves music and has been singing all her life, in fact from what her mother tells her, she has been singing since before she could talk. Dana has had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest choral directors and instructors in Canada and has travelled worldwide with different singing groups over the years. Dana has also had the opportunity to work with many different artists and has also sung on many of their CD’s as a back-ground vocalist. Dana took a 2 years Bachelor of Music at Augustana University College. She has been teaching voice lessons in the Lower Mainland since 1995 and teaches a mix of different styles and genres to her students. Dana sings at her church regularly as a soloist, as well as singing on the worship teams. Currently, along with teaching voice lessons, Dana works as a Teacher’s Assistant in the Abbotsford School District. She also sings with her group “The Gospel Connection” at various events throughout the year, such as The Christmas Tree Lighting in Downtown Abbotsford, Agrifair, The Aldergrove Fair and The BerryBeat Festival. She is in her 4th year with A&D Music.
