TEACHER BIO'S

AMAR BARI: Classical & Pop piano teacher – Amar grew up in Abbotsford, originally starting out as a young ballet student. Paying more attention to the piano, it soon became evident that making music was more her forté. Prior to her teen years, Amar had already competed in various piano competitions throughout the lower mainland and Vancouver, and had won many awards for her accomplishments. Her more recent achievements include attaining a Licentiate diploma from the London (England) College of Music (LCM) in 2007, and followed with her Fellowship charter (FLCM) from the same institute in 2008. She has trained with Deanna Tice (Deanna is owner of Take Note Music Studio in Edmonton and was a TMA clinician & educational specialist who has trained music teachers across North America, Australia and the UK.).
Amar has been under the direction of renown professors including Edward & Ian Parker of Vancouver, and has made appearances in Palm Desert, California; Fort Collins, Colorado; the Institute of Curtis in Philadelphia and in New York’s Julliard School of Arts. After her wedding , Amar will continue in her 2nd year of teaching with A&D Music
